Baška Voda is located about ten miles northwest of Makarska. This place is famous for its long pebble beaches and crystal clear water. In Baška Voda is the baroque church of St. Lovre (built in 1750), fitting a number of medieval grave stones and the parish church of St. Nicholas, built in 1889.
About Baška Voda, on the slopes of the mountains are the places Biokovo Bast and Topići, under typical mountain villages with ancient stone houses.
