Orebić – once a maritime center at southwest side of the Peljesac peninsula – 120 km from the historic city of Dubrovnik and the airport Ćilipi. In ten minutes it is possible to reach the island Korčula. In the vicinity are the Elafiti islands and the island of Mljet – one of the most famous Croatian National park. Orebić offers its guests a clean and pristine nature with centennial pine trees, olive and almond trees and a landscape of flowers. Here are long beaches and numerous bays with crystal clear water. The nearby mountain dominates a Franciscan monastery from the year 1470 with a neat museum from which an unforgettable view is offered, to the unique beauty of this area. In Orebić is a maritime museum, a baroque church with a marble relief of early Christian, immured in the church door. On the hill overlooking the monastery a Gothic church of our Lady of Karmen is placed with ancient sarcophagi, a bit further and you can find the remains of a Trstenic princess fortress.

On the Peljesac peninsula, 2,5 km from the resort of Orebić, just opposite of the island and town Korčula, Hotel Komodor is settled as well as a bungalow settlement.

The hotel Komodor includes 5 apartments, 281 double rooms with and without extra bed, the sea view offers a wonderful view to Korčula city, settled on neighboring same named island Korčula. The island is famous for its “Moreška”games, the “war dance”and merchant Marco Polo. This resort includes a bungalow settlement with 50 houses. As part of the hotel there is an aperetif bar, a TV lounge, a self-service grocery store, gift shop and parking are also offered. The gastronomic offer is varied, the breakfast is served in “Buffet”style, dinner is served classic.

In the immediate vicinity of the hotel a 600 m extends which is suitable especially for children because of its low water depth. For lovers of something deeper sea, towards Orebić spreads a stone- and gravel beach whose beauty and purity will enjoy even the most sophisticated water enthusiasts. Our guests will like beach volleyball, basketball, balls, cycling, hiking or walking along the wine road just as the gastronomic specialties and the enjoyment of the well-known wines Dingač and Postup, which offers such a place. Every day, ship or bus trips are organized to the neighboring islands and Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Croatian Adriatic.
