Selce is a famous seaside resort on the coast road located about 3,5 km from Crikvenica. The island of Krk, the biggest Croatian island, which is considered as a winegrowing area is  located opposite of Selce. On Krk you can easy get by boat. Beginning of the last century, the development of the village, proceeded by the formation of Selce as a tourist destination. In the old district  the original maritime achitecture was obtained with an old farmhouse, surrounded by high walls. A few miles sotheast of Selce, Novi Vinodolski is placed and known for its „Vinodol right“, an ancient monument of the Croatian general law in glagolitic alphabet, written in 1282.
This area with its mild Mediterranean climate, its rich cultural an historical tradition for years draws tourists from all over the world.

Between Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski, only 25 km from Rijeka, Selce is placed as well as the port Selce where Camp Uvala Slana Selce belongs to.  In the background lies the Vinodol valley. Selce is connected to Crikvenica by a pedestrian walkway, at the end of the promenade path towards Novi Vinodolski is the Camp Uvala Slana.

The camp has 214 camping units. As part of the camp there is a reception, telephone and two public telephones, a grocery store, a kiosk with beach equipment and stalls with fresh fruit and vegetables. Guests on the beach can enjoy in “A la carte” menues in the nearby restaurant or have refreshenig drinks or cocktails in our Bistro. This area is well known for sun, sea and fine wines like Žlahtina, Vodica, Malvazija, Teran and Plavac, which are at every winelist.

After extensive water-and sunbaths on the terrace guests can enjoy live music of an „A la carte“ restaurant. The supply of beach canoes, table tennis, beach volleyball, tennis and other recreational activities for children make the holiday for every guest even more complete and more beautiful.
